MDX Bill is a complete billing and scheduling program for physicians and independant health facilities in Ontario. It allows submission of electronic files by diskette or EDT to the Ministry of Health for payment, and processes electronic files returned for reconcilliation, errors, and batch edits. It allows claims to be submitted for HCP, reciprocal billing and WCB. MDXBill also includes a complete direct or third party billing interface with user configurable codes and invoice/receipt formats.

The scheduling component allows appointment scheduling of both registered and non-registered patients in 10 minute increments. Multiple rooms or physicians can be configured at no additional cost. The scheduling component links directly to the billing interface to prevent double entry of information.

MDXBill can run as a single system, or on a network of connected workstations. The progam makes use of the robust Microsoft Windows Server Platform® including Microsoft Windows 2000 Server®, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server®, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000®. The workstation component is designed to run most effectively on Microsoft Windows XP Professional®. Physician reports are integrated in Microsft Word® format.
